Finding a clear direction for my career was a challenge for me since I have always been interested in just about every subject, but math and music called to me the most. My third love, gaming, often distracted me from academic pursuits.
After learning about the field of sound design though, I could finally find a symbiotic relationship between my three passions.
I currently work for Camping World developing systems with Python script and SQL and freelance tutor at night (mostly math and ACT/SAT prep), all the while pursuing a career in game sound design. I produce music under the name Riley Circles and play piano, guitar, and percussion. At Peabody Institute, I primarily did recording projects involving new compositions in classical, jazz, and rock. Other topics I studied include acoustics, audio technology, digital signal processing, psychoacoustics, and composition.
